I saw the man the man with norwich union health insuance do a petition pull out of norwich union if they don't -
I've read up on this story and it's really sad and I do feel really sorry for the man and his family. However, critical illness insurance cover, in its current form, isn't designed to cover every possible illness. The website in the source box below lists what illnesses are covered. It says that any illness which isn't listed isn't covered. I think that to solve problems like this, an insurance adviser should always make it clear when they are selling the policy that not every possible illness is covered, and that it only covers the listed illnesses. If the adviser didn't point out that it only covers the listed illnesses, then the policy may have been mis-sold. If you enter 'pete nash norwich union' into Google (I did, out of curiosity) you'll get the background to this sad story. Ok then if your gonna ask i question you have to word in the correct way. How we supposed to read that? I saw a putty pussy cat!!!!!! what????????? ?!?!?! and the question is? Rad is obviously very upset and this has affected his/her typing. What they mean is this;- A man living in Kings Langley called Pete Nash (I have met him - he and his family are a normal, nice bunch of people!) and he has a condition which is extremely life threatening. The National Health Service refused to pay for his operation so his friends and neighbours helped him to set up a charity called Pete's Fund to raise money to help him and others with the condition. His operation was finally paid for but he is now ill and penniless. Norwich Union were quite happy to accept payment for his medical insurance but are apparently refusing to pay out. There was a program on TV last night but I haven't seen it yet - the whole situation is heartbreaking for Pete, his wife Julia, his three sons and all of his friends and neighbours. Please ask questions that make sense.
