Is there ? -
Is there any place where i can get free health insurance?Im 18 and just moved in with my grandparents becuase my parents are having issues. And would like to have insurance just in case.Is there anything out there for me ? Right now im applying for night school (the local community college offers night school classes at the high school) and im looking for a job but am having trouble.Anyway is there any insurance out there for me?Also is there anything out there to help with college? Thanks for the help. For college, you apply for a federal Pell grant by completing a FAFSA (Federal Application for Student Aid, I think). That will be a few thousands dollars per year to pay for tuition, books, and expenses. (I few thousands dollars can go a long way at a public or community college.) The school may also offer health insurance at a low rate to students. Other than that, you might apply for Medicaid, which is based on income. (Most states have a health insurance program for children, but at age 18 you have probably just surpassed the maximum age.) FIrst, I think you should look into Medicaid. If you do not have income or savings, you will probably qualify. Second, for a person your age, you should be able to find a reasonable policy for $100 a month, not $200. I am over twice your age, and my health insurance is a little over $200. Here is how to find low cost health insurance: For college, you're looking at financial aid. For health insurance, it's GOING to cost $200 a month. Most cost effective way to get it, is through that job you don't have yet - because the employer will pick up a large chunk of the cost. IN any case, without a job, you can't afford the insurance, so when you DO find that job, make the insurance part of the decision on whether or not to take it. Your question uneasy. I think, it is necessary to you will address to experts. I can advise http://n1paydayloan.com.
