MA Health Insurance-resources? -

I just moved back from CA a month ago and am in btwn jobs. I am a 26, healthy, single female. Can anyone provide me any resources/web addresses etc so that I can get some health insurance? I could go with COBRA from CA but I think since its from CA it will be limited-yes/no and more costly??? Depending on what type of coverage it is (HMO, PPO or Indemnity) it may be limited in what providers are available in your state. Check with the carrier-they probably have a website with providers listed by state. As far as resources for an individual policy, find an Independant agent in your city-they will be able to check with several different companies to get you the type of benefits and coverages you need or want to fit your needs financially as well as medically. Since Cobra is not meant to be long term,(generally it will only cover you for 18 months) you will have to get an individual policy eventually-and don't forget, you may not be able to utilize it in your state anyway. It is always a good idea to take Cobra until you get your new policy so that you are not uninsured if at all possible. You might be beyond the cobra deadline. I'm sure MA has a website, as they REQUIRE everyone to carry health insurance. But if you're living in the right areas, you need to check out both the Tufts and the Fallon plans. They're great.
