Radiologist working for a hospital. How do i get paid?? -
You're a radiologist working for a hospitals radiology department how might you be paid? A. by the hospital from its global payment B. by the patient directly C. through resource utilization groups D. under the case-mix group payment rates. Radiologist and other anciallary providers are normally paid through the patients. There is no case rate that I am aware that allows radiologist and anciallary providers payment. This drives a lot of dissatisfication in the healthcare delivery system as members are often hit with hidden fees. In my experiences it is somewhat of a standard that the radiologist does not participate in any insurances however; works in a participating hospital that does.
