Santa broke my chimney - can I make an insurance claim on home and contents insurance? -
what is his policy number? You're going to have to make the claim on YOUR homeowners insurance. See, Santa isn't licensed to drive that sleigh. And the reindeer are prohibited animals inside city limits. Not to mention, that whole "magic dust" thing that I'm just not going to touch. So you need to put the claim in under YOUR homeowners policy, and pay the deductible, and then take him to small claims court. Good luck getting the supoena to him - "North Pole" is a pretty vague address, and your local Sherriff is going to charge extra for that delivery. are u kidding? In order to effectively claim such damages, you would have to contact the police and file a complaint against Santa. At that point, the police would attempt to serve a summons for Santa to appear in court. I think it would be difficult to find a process server who would make the trip to the North Pole, especially at this time of year. Good luck....:) does your policy cover fat men in a red suit he he only if you can get him to testify ummm... Christmas hasn't even passed yet!!! (at least in MA) and i don't think that that would be covered on your insurance (or mine!) unless someone broke into your house through your chimney and broke it!
