When you have a statement under oath why does the insurance company have 30 days to approve or deny the claim? -
I've already been waiting 90 days and they want me to wait more. Is this a good or bad thing? Because they get to investigate. It's a neutral thing. The company needs the time to investigate the facts claimed in the statment They had you provide a statement under oath because they don't believe you- you should have figured that much out already. They are investigating your claim and/or their legal options. It's really neither good nor bad. Insurance companies are notorious for working in this manner. They love for you to buy insurance for every little thing but they sure hate to pay it out when a claim is made and they will make you wait for it.
