3. How can you protect your data from damage and theft? -

Depends on how/where you keep your data. Easiest way is to hire a third party to keep it, and let THEM be responsible for theft. Damage, of course, is all about backups. what data? add it to your homowners or renters policy as an additional rider. Back up all files regularly and take the backup off premises. put an anti virus to your computer Install a no cookie virus porotecter. Cookies cause problems. Then install password protected documents this should prevent this from happening.
