"Bewiser" insurance anyone dealt with them are they ok? -
Bewiser is a trading name of an insurance intermediary who have agencies with various companies. I suggest you read the TOBA about administration charges. If they read this response then they should realise that they are in breach of FSA regulations by including a link to the FSA website using the FSA logo and by implying that RAC assistance is part of the insurance policy. (They should break that down and make it optional - especially as they are charging for something that the customer may already have) I am pleased, however that the total excess is shown on the insurance quote and other policy features (e.g. free foreign use/ radio limit) are also shown. I must admit to being surprised that, when looking for a Chaucer Insurance policy I was shown an Allianz policy and that the key facts document was not available. Also there is no mention in any policy document about RAC breakdown and when asked about Prestige the system tries to give me a Churchill Policy (but fails). As they are regulated by the FSA you can be sure that any losses caused by their incompetence will be met with and that they have passed certain key (threshold conditions) for receiving authroisation. Other than trying the quotation system and reviewing their TOBA I know nothing about them. They're an agency, not a company. You want to find out what companies they use, and check the rating at www.ambest.com
